This is the tour that got it all started for us. Our popular Walker Bay Nature Reserve sundowner tour. This 2 – 3 hour late afternoon tour includes sundowners on a remote beach, surrounded by the mountains, limestone cliffs and the Atlantic ocean. The tour also includes spending some time on the stunning sand dunes and coastal caves. Lloyd will pick you up at your guesthouse and we will enter the reserve. Our first stop will be the ancient Klipgat Caves, nestled in the dramatic coastal cliff faces of Walker Bay. These caves have been home to early man as far back as 80 000 years ago. Lloyd will interpret as we go. He has a wealth of knowledge about the area, the reserve and the marine life of Walker Bay. Back to the car, engage low range, raise air suspension and off we go. We follow the sandy 4×4 track through the Strandveld Fynbos to the edge of the photogenic sand dunes where we have some time to take photos and have a bit of fun. From the dunes we drive due South to the fisherman’s 4×4 trail and follow the tracks until we find a special beach – our own piece of paradise to set up a table and chairs and enjoy a sundowner. ( A glass of delicious Rose from a local wine farm ) Included in your tour.
