This is the ultimate ride down the mountain to the top of the Sand Dunes.
The trail to the dunes is special, running on a narrow sandy horse trail through the Fynbos to the top of the Dunes. When reaching the dunes we will make our way down the sand channels to the main part of the Dunes taking in the fantastic scenery and ocean views.
The tour can be for anyone who can ride a bike and is not very strenuous as we take our time and it is more about taking in the amazing afternoon sun and sunset than racing around. For the adventurous rider we can tackle the steep sand faces on the dunes and test your mind over matter on what looks impossible and dangerous to actually be gentle and exciting. This tour is for anyone and everyone and not to be missed when visiting Cape Town or the Overberg area.

Meet at The Roundhouse Accommodation at 61 Ingang Street, De Kelders.
From there we drive up to the top of the Walker bay reserve where we offload the bikes. I then explain how the bikes work before you have a practice to get used to the bikes, gears etc. We then ride through an 800m Fynbos trail to the top of the Dunes. The tour is approximately 6km long mostly Downhill. Views stunning and the tour is excellent fun
