Meet and greet at our venue on the abalone farm in the New Harbour Hermanus. Learn something new at the introductory briefing session. Boot-up and explore the farm on a guided tour. En route, marvel at the live abalone farmed in tanks, the baby abalone (spats) in the hatchery, the vast technical infrastructure, and the construction of a wave energy converter. End the tour off with an optional tasting of this rare delicacy.
Bring own socks, we provide the stylish gumboots. Hat and sunscreen for warm days and jacket for cooler weather as we walk right down to the ocean.
